The Củ Chi district extends across 435 square kilometers of agricultural terrain with highlands in the north and delta regions in the south.
The district formed part of the Iron Triangle during the Vietnam War, connecting strategic locations in Cu Chi, Trang Bang, and Ben Cat through underground passages.
The Kinh people represent the main ethnic group in Cu Chi, maintaining agricultural traditions and contributing to the district's rice production and farming methods.
Visitors reach Cu Chi by bus numbers 13 from Ben Thanh Station or 94 from Cho Lon Station, with entrance fees to Ben Dinh Tunnels at 110,000 VND.
The district contains an intricate network of underground tunnels that served as living quarters, hospitals, and supply routes during military operations.
