Vinpearl Cable Car

The Vinpearl Cable Car is an aerial transport system that spans from the mainland of Nha Trang to an island across the bay. The line covers several kilometers in length and is supported by large towers rising from the sea, which carry it safely over the water.

The system was constructed in the 2000s as a connection to a new leisure park on the island. The project marked a significant investment step in developing tourism infrastructure for this coastal region.

This cable system links the mainland to an island destination and opens access to a major leisure complex for visitors. It demonstrates how modern transport infrastructure has been woven into local tourism and shaped travel patterns in the region.

Cabins hold several passengers and the journey across the water takes around 15 minutes to complete. The system is easily accessible and offers good views of the bay and surrounding landscape during the ride.

The system was built using particularly tall towers in the sea that rest on deep foundations anchored to the seabed. This engineering approach shows how the construction was specially adapted to the bay's conditions.
