Vinpearl Cable Car, Gondola lift in Nha Trang, Vietnam
The Vinpearl Cable Car connects the mainland with Hon Tre Island through a 3,320-meter route supported by seven offshore towers over Nha Trang Bay.
The cable car system, built by POMA company and completed in 2007, required 240 billion Vietnamese dong and involved two local construction companies for foundations and towers.
The system represents an integration of modern transportation infrastructure with Vietnamese coastal tourism, connecting visitors to Vinpearl Land entertainment complex.
Each cabin accommodates eight passengers for a 15-minute journey, operating at 50 meters above sea level with views of the surrounding waters.
The engineering includes seven Eiffel-style towers in the sea, with the tallest reaching 115 meters and foundation piles extending 94 meters into the seabed.
