Xuân Lộc, Rural district in Đồng Nai Province, Vietnam.

Xuân Lộc is a rural district in Đồng Nai Province that stretches along National Highway 1, covering approximately 727 square kilometers. The administrative center of Gia Ray connects communities through local roads and provides essential services.

The district gained military significance in April 1975 when it was the site of the final major battle between North and South Vietnamese forces before Saigon's fall. This confrontation proved decisive in determining the war's outcome.

The fourteen communes here maintain traditional farming methods that shape daily life and community gatherings. You can observe how agricultural work remains central to local identity and social routines.

Access is easiest via National Highway 1, which runs through the district as the main transportation route. The administrative center of Gia Ray serves as a good starting point for exploring the surrounding communities and local roads.

The area sits at an elevation of around 159 meters above sea level, making it one of the higher points in the region. This elevation was a key factor in why it became a critical defensive position during the conflict.
