My Khe Beach

My Khe Beach is a 900-meter (2,950 feet) coastal section in Da Nang featuring soft white sand and clear water. It stretches between Son Tra Peninsula and Marble Mountains in central Vietnam.

American servicemen stationed here during the Vietnam War called the location China Beach and used it as a recreation area from 1965 to 1975. This period shaped its international reputation.

The shore reflects Vietnamese coastal traditions that you can experience during your visit. Early mornings bring tai chi practitioners to the sand, while evenings feature local food vendors and fishermen working with their nets.

Multiple entry points along Vo Nguyen Giap Street make it easy to reach the beach from different directions. Designated swimming zones with lifeguard stations and rental shops provide comfortable conditions for a safe visit.

The shore divides into three separate bathing areas: Pham Van Dong Park, the T20-T18 zone for surfing, and main beach sections 1-2-3. This layout creates different experiences depending on where you choose to swim or relax.
