MVRDV architects completed their first project in 1997 when VPRO relocated from thirteen separate villas to this unified headquarters building.
The design transforms traditional office concepts by eliminating corridors and creating varied spaces that support different work methods and interactions.
Technical facilities, including air conditioning, data cables, and electrical systems, remain concealed within the hollow floors to maintain visual clarity.
A grass-covered roof introduces natural elements while the building interior contains varying floor heights and spaces connected through serpentine patios.
