Byscenen

Byscenen is a music venue located in central Trondheim with two performance halls designed for various types of concerts and events. The main hall accommodates approximately 750 standing guests or 400 seated attendees, equipped with modern acoustic systems.

The building originally served as Arbeiderforeningen beginning in 1878. Following major renovations, it reopened as Byscenen in 2010 while preserving its classical architectural character.

This venue attracts music lovers from across the region who gather for performances spanning multiple genres. It functions as a social hub where audiences connect through live music and shared listening experiences.

The venue is located at Kongens Gate 19 in the city center and is easily accessible on foot. You can choose between two different halls depending on the type of performance you wish to attend.

A modern glass facade extends toward Repslagerveita street, creating an interesting contrast with the classical style of the original building. This blend of old architectural elements with contemporary design is one of the venue's most distinctive visual features.
