This manor house was constructed from 1905 to 1906 for Viscountess Josefina Clarisse Duprat de Oliveira. Architect Miguel Ventura Terra won the prestigious Valmor Prize for this design, marking its recognition as a significant architectural achievement of the period.

The building displays French-influenced stone decorative details across its facades that reflect early 20th-century tastes. These elements remain visible today and show how Lisbon drew inspiration from Parisian design during this period.
