The Palacete Valmor features a square layout with a hemicycle containing distribution spaces and an atrium on Avenida da República and Avenida Visconde Valmor.
Built between 1905 and 1906 for Viscountess Josefina Clarisse Duprat de Oliveira, architect Miguel Ventura Terra received the Prémio Valmor award for this project.
The building incorporates Parisian-influenced stone decorative reliefs and architectural elements that exemplify the early 20th-century Portuguese architectural evolution.
The structure currently operates as tourist accommodation, maintaining its position as an essential landmark in the Avenidas Novas district of Lisbon.
The corner placement creates a concave entrance space flanked by landscaped areas, setting this building apart from others along Avenida da República.
