Ural State Technical University

Ural State Technical University is a public university in Yekaterinburg, Russia. The campus spreads across several buildings that house lecture halls, laboratories and research facilities.

The institution was founded in 1920 by decree of the Soviet government and was one of the first higher education centers in the region. Over the decades, the institute expanded into one of the largest technical universities in the Urals.

The university organizes annual Demidov Lectures where prize winners present their research findings to students and faculty members throughout the academic year.

The campus is located centrally in Yekaterinburg and is easily accessible by public transport. Most buildings are open during the day, though some areas are restricted to students and faculty members.

The library holds a collection of old manuscripts and early printed works in Cyrillic script. These documents date from several centuries and are used for academic research.
