The Church of Saints Peter and Paul spans 1425 square meters and displays Russian and Byzantine architectural elements from the 11th and 12th centuries.
The construction of this religious building started in 2008 as part of a Russian Orthodox Church project to establish additional worship centers in Moscow.
Bishop Theodore Kazanov received consecration from Patriarch Kirill of Moscow at this church during a ceremony held on December 27, 2015.
The church building stands at Novoyasenyevsky Prospect 42, Building 7, where Archimandrite Melchizedek Artyukhin presides as the current rector.
In 2014, prior to its completion, this religious structure received recognition as the finest implemented investment and construction project in Moscow Oblast.
