This church is an Empire-style building with a rectangular footprint crowned by a cylindrical drum and gilded dome. The interior features wall paintings and a chapel dedicated to Saints Boris and Gleb.
A wooden structure stood on this site from 1619, but the current stone building was constructed between 1827 and 1848 under several architects. The project reflects the architectural developments of that era.
