The Moscow State Museum of Sergey Yesenin displays manuscripts, photographs, and personal belongings across two historical buildings in central Moscow.
The museum opened its doors in 1995 to mark the centenary of Sergey Yesenin's birth and became an official state institution in 1996.
The exhibition spaces present the life story of Sergey Yesenin through documents, artworks, and artifacts that demonstrate his influence on Russian poetry.
Visitors can explore the museum collections on Thursdays from 1 PM to 8 PM and from Friday to Sunday between 11 AM and 6 PM.
The museum occupies the building at Bolshoy Strochenovsky Lane where Yesenin maintained his only official Moscow residence from 1911 to 1918.
