The Vorovsky Park encompasses 8.2 hectares of green space with mature birch trees, lime trees, and maple trees near Voykovskaya metro station.
The park grounds originated in 1898 as part of a medical facility for alcoholics, which later transformed into a sanatorium after the 1917 revolution.
A white granite monument depicting a bird-woman with a lowered head stands in the central square, commemorating World War II veterans.
The park features basketball courts, a skate park, exercise equipment, children's playgrounds, and an ice skating rink during winter months.
The former medical facility building continues to serve the community as an educational center for children and young people.
