Троице-Феодоровский монастырь, Orthodox monastery in Kazan, Russia.
The Trinity Feodorovsky Monastery stands on an elevated cape above the Kazanka River, featuring a cathedral dedicated to Saint Theodore Stratelates.
The monastery began operations in 1607 during Metropolitan Germogen's time and underwent transformation from a male to a female monastery in November 1900.
The monastery organizes annual processions on July 20th from the Annunciation Cathedral, carrying the Kazan and Smolensk Mother of God icons.
The monastery contains a museum of Saint Luke of Crimea in the basement of the 16th-century cathedral, displaying personal items and letters.
The monastery celebrates the Feodorovsky Icon twice annually: March 14th throughout Orthodox Russia and August 16th specifically in Kazan.
