Tunbyholm Castle is a château in Tomelilla Municipality comprising two distinct wings with yellow facades decorated by white pilasters. Both sections display square floor plans and flat saddle roofs that define its overall architectural character.
The castle was constructed between 1634 and 1640 as a significant architectural statement in Skåne County. A major restoration during the 1830s significantly altered its appearance and reinforced elements that visitors see today.
The building received its heritage designation status in 1964, marking its significance within Swedish architectural preservation efforts.
The site holds protected heritage status, but interior access is currently not permitted for visitors. The exterior can be viewed and photographed from the surrounding grounds.
