Ring Knutstorp, motor racing circuit in Kågeröd, Sweden
Ring Knutstorp is a racing circuit in Svalöv, Sweden, that has hosted motorsport events since 1963. The track is roughly 2 km (1.2 mi) long with 14 turns and a smooth asphalt surface featuring a mix of sharp corners and longer straightaways.
A local motorsport club built a smaller motocross course at the same site in 1951 before a permanent asphalt circuit opened in 1963. The track was extended in 1970 and reconfigured in 1980, while hosting European Formula 3 races throughout the 1970s.
The track takes its name from the locality of Kågeröd where it stands. It serves as a gathering place where drivers and fans from across the region come together to share their passion for racing and motorsport competition.
The circuit is easily accessible with nearby parking and basic amenities including a clubhouse and food stalls. Arrive early on race days to secure a good spot on the stands or in designated spectator areas.
Driver Alain Prost, who later became a Formula 1 world champion, raced here in the European Formula 3 series during the 1970s. A lap record was set in 2009 by Patric Sundel in a superkart in under 56 seconds.
