Jahodna

Jahodna is a mountain summit in the Low Beskids, part of the Carpathian range in eastern Slovakia. The peak stands at approximately 725 meters and is accessible by several clearly marked hiking trails.

The mountain lies on the European long-distance hiking route E8, which crosses multiple countries and connects various mountain ranges. This trail has helped establish the peak as part of a broader European walking network.

The mountain serves as a connection point between various Slovak communities, offering winter sports facilities and summer hiking opportunities for local residents.

The climb suits hikers of all levels, and the trails are well maintained during the season. Lodging is available at the nearby Chata Jahodná hut, which is situated close to the peak.

The summit maintains a prominence of 21 meters and ranks fourth among seventeen peaks in the Košice region based on its elevation measurements.
