Steny

Steny is a mountain summit in the Malá Fatra range located in Slovakia at approximately 1572 meters elevation. The peak features multiple hiking routes with varying difficulty levels that lead through forested slopes and alpine terrain.

Steny was mapped and documented as part of Slovakia's mountain exploration efforts in the region. Over time climbers and explorers contributed to recording routes and conditions on this summit.

Local mountaineering clubs organize regular expeditions to Steny, maintaining traditional climbing routes and supporting regional outdoor activities.

Several trails lead to the summit, with shorter routes covering around 5.8 kilometers of walking. Proper hiking boots and weather-appropriate clothing are important since conditions at elevation can change rapidly.

The summit sits close to neighboring peaks such as Hromové located only about 500 meters away. This proximity allows hikers to climb multiple summits during a single trip.
