Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy, Military academy in Phrommani, Thailand.
The Chulachomklao Royal Military Academy is a military academy in Phrommani that occupies a large compound in Nakhon Nayok province. The site includes classroom blocks, dormitories, parade grounds, and covered training halls spread over several hectares.
King Chulalongkorn founded the institution in 1887 at Saranrom Palace in Bangkok. The academy moved to Nakhon Nayok in 1986 to gain more space for drills and instruction.
The academy maintains partnerships with international military institutions, conducting joint exercises and exchange programs to enhance cadet education and cross-cultural understanding.
The compound sits away from main roads and is not open to the general public. Visitors require official clearance arranged in advance.
Cadets take part in exchange programs with military institutions in other countries, giving them insight into different training methods. These international links encourage dialogue between the armed forces of different nations.
