Wangan Green Turtle Tourism and Conservation Center

The conservation center features educational exhibits about marine life and provides rehabilitation services for injured sea turtles in the Penghu Islands region.

The center began operations in January 1995 and formally opened its doors to visitors in 1997, marking a new era for marine conservation in Taiwan.

The facility educates visitors about marine conservation through exhibitions, workshops, and guided tours that focus on the protection of sea turtle populations.

Located 400 meters north of Wang'an ferry port, the center maintains specific visiting hours and offers both guided and self-guided tour options for visitors.

The center has successfully rehabilitated over 250 rescued sea turtles, with 150 specimens returned to their natural habitat by 2015.
