Voyevodyn waterfall

Voyevodyn waterfall is a natural cascade in the Perechyn region of Zakarpattia Oblast, Ukraine. The water flows over rocky ledges and drops in several tiers as it travels along the Voyevodyn River.

This cascade sits within the State ornithological reserve 'Falcons Rocks', which has protected the local bird species and natural rock formations for many decades. The reserve designation reflects a long commitment to preserving this part of the landscape.

The waterfall represents one of many natural water features in the Carpathian Mountains that shape local Ukrainian outdoor recreation traditions.

Reaching this cascade requires hiking from a nearby village through forest trails that wind through the woodland. Sturdy footwear and weather protection are essential, as the paths can be muddy and uneven depending on recent rainfall.

The cascade is part of a reserve for peregrine falcons and other bird species that nest in the surrounding rock faces. Visitors hiking through the forest often hear various bird calls and woodland sounds that remind them they are in a protected natural area.
