Krasnorichenske

Krasnorichenske extends across the eastern territory of Luhansk Oblast at an elevation of 75 meters above sea level with a population of 3,755 residents.

Founded in 1703 under the name Kabannye, the settlement underwent administrative changes throughout centuries until receiving its current name in 1973.

The settlement represents a linguistic composition where 93 percent of inhabitants speak Ukrainian while 6.8 percent communicate in Russian as their primary language.
