Krasnorichenske

Krasnorichenske is an urban-type settlement located in eastern Luhansk Oblast in Ukraine. The community functions as a local center with standard municipal services and infrastructure typical of settlements in this region.

The settlement was founded in 1703 under the name Kabannye and underwent several administrative changes over the centuries. In 1973 it received its current name.

The settlement represents a linguistic composition where 93 percent of inhabitants speak Ukrainian while 6.8 percent communicate in Russian as their primary language.
