Expocenter of Ukraine, Exhibition complex in Teremky district, Kyiv, Ukraine.
The Expocenter of Ukraine is an exhibition complex with 180 buildings and structures spread across 286 hectares, of which 20 are designated as architectural monuments of local importance. The site has room for various events and includes a large wooded area with paths and open spaces.
Construction of this exhibition center started in 1952 under architect Borys Zhezherin and opened officially in 1958. The project emerged during a period when such exhibition spaces were being built to showcase regional knowledge and capabilities.
The center displays Ukrainian work and progress in technology, agriculture, and manufacturing through about 100 yearly exhibitions. You see how the country's businesses and innovators share what they create.
You can reach the complex by taking Metro line 2 to Vystavkovyi Tsentr station, and entry to the grounds is free. During special exhibitions, admission fees may apply, so it helps to check what's happening before you visit.
The complex holds one of the largest wooded park areas among exhibition centers worldwide and offers activities like horseback riding and bicycle rentals. Visitors can explore these green spaces while walking between the different venues.
