The Museum of Sexual Cultures of the World displays artifacts, photographs, and educational materials across ten exhibition rooms focusing on different geographical regions and civilizations.
Founded in 1999 by the Department of Sexology at Kharkiv Medical Academy, the museum originated from Professor Valentin Krishtahl's personal collection of cultural artifacts.
The exhibition halls present sexual traditions and practices from Greece, Rome, Japan, India, China, Europe, Africa, and the Americas through various historical objects.
Located at Mironositskaya Street 81A, the museum operates Monday through Saturday from 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM, with admission restricted to adults over 18.
The museum maintains a dedicated educational space for teenagers aged 15 and above, offering structured lectures about human anatomy, relationships, and sexual health.
