Stanislav Range Front Light is a lighthouse on a small island in the Dnieper River estuary in Kherson Oblast. The structure uses a steel lattice framework shaped in a hyperboloid form with observation areas positioned within its geometric design.
The lighthouse was built in 1911 by Vladimir Shukhov to guide ships through the Dnieper waterway. It represented a new approach to lighthouse design in the early 20th century.
The lighthouse shows how engineering skill was applied to solve real navigation challenges for river traffic. Today it represents the industrial development that shaped this waterway.
