Crosstown Concourse
Crosstown Concourse, Art Deco skyscraper in Midtown Memphis, United States.
Crosstown Concourse is a 14-story building in Midtown Memphis featuring extensive glass panels across its exterior. The structure houses a diverse mix of offices, residences, shops, and services within its 1.1 million square feet of space.
The building was constructed in 1927 as a distribution center for the Sears department store. After decades of sitting vacant, it underwent major renovation and reopened in 2017.
The building serves as a vertical village, bringing together homes, schools, clinics, eateries, and galleries within one structure. Walking through its halls, you encounter a mix of different purposes and people all sharing the same address.
The building offers ample parking and is easy to reach by car from around Memphis. Inside, you will find multiple entrances and zones, allowing you to navigate directly to your destination.
The renovation required repointing mortar between 7 million bricks to restore the original structure. Over 3000 window panels were also installed to match the building's original Art Deco design.
