Batman & Robin: The Chiller

Batman & Robin: The Chiller was a dual-track roller coaster at Six Flags Great Adventure featuring two parallel courses that ran simultaneously. The blue and red tracks allowed visitors to experience the rides side by side, with each train carrying twenty passengers.

The attraction opened in June 1997 as a major investment for the park featuring advanced launch technology. Technical issues caused extended closures, but it returned with modifications the following year.

The ride took its name and design inspiration from the Batman and Robin film released that year. Both tracks displayed distinct colors representing the two characters, making the film connection immediately visible to visitors.

Each train seat has an individual lap bar for safety and comfort during the ride. Arriving early helps avoid long waits, as this was one of the park's most popular attractions.

The ride used a linear induction motor system to launch riders with intense acceleration in just four seconds. This rapid launch was often the most memorable part of the experience for visitors.
