Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis

The Cathedral Basilica of Saint Louis is a church in Byzantine Revival style featuring three large domes and two towers. The exterior walls are made of granite, while the interior is covered with brick, marble, and millions of colored mosaic tiles.

Construction of this church began in 1907 and was completed in 1914, designed by architects Barnett, Haynes & Barnett. The decorative mosaics were added over many decades, reflecting a long building history.
