Logansport

Logansport sits where the Wabash and Eel rivers meet in northern Indiana, spanning approximately 9 square miles of land. The city functions as the administrative center of Cass County and is surrounded by farmland.

The settlement took its name from Captain Logan, a Shawnee scout who supported American forces during the War of 1812. This historical connection remains central to the identity of the place.

The McHale Performing Arts Center hosts seasonal productions and multiple festivals throughout the year, including Art on the Avenue and the Med Flory Jazz Festival. These events shape the cultural rhythm of the community and draw visitors from surrounding areas.

City Hall is located on East Broadway and provides administrative services for both residents and visitors. It is most helpful to visit during regular business hours on weekdays.

The Dentzel Carousel in Riverside Park retains its original mechanical ring dispenser that lets riders collect brass rings during their ride. This vintage ride is a rare example of a fully functional carousel of its kind.
