King of Prussia Mall, Shopping center in King of Prussia, US.
King of Prussia Mall is a large shopping center in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania, containing over 450 stores across roughly 259,000 square meters (2.79 million square feet). The two main sections, The Plaza and The Court, connect through covered walkways and offer department stores, boutiques, and dining options under one roof.
The Plaza opened in 1963 as a standalone section and established the present shopping center. The Court was added in 1981, and both areas merged into a continuous facility through extensive renovations in 2016.
The complex takes its name from the town, which itself honors Frederick the Great of Prussia. Visitors move between upscale shops and restaurants while families from across the region spend their weekends here.
Over 13,000 parking spaces surround the grounds, so drivers can usually find a spot without much trouble. Several SEPTA bus lines stop directly at the shopping center, making access from Philadelphia and the suburbs straightforward.
The first Netflix House is set to open here in late 2025, offering entertainment experiences centered on popular series and films. This new area expands the traditional shopping experience with interactive media content.
