Woodcrest, Historic mansion in Radnor Township, Pennsylvania.
The Woodcrest Mansion extends across 47,000 square feet, containing fifty-one rooms distributed over three stories in Tudor Revival architectural style.
James W. Paul, a managing partner at Drexel and Company Banking, commissioned architect Horace Trumbauer to design the mansion, completed in 1901.
The Missionary Sisters of the Sacred Heart of Jesus acquired the property in 1953, transforming the former banking magnate's residence into an educational institution.
The mansion currently functions as the main administration building of Cabrini University, located at 610 King of Prussia Road in Radnor Township.
The structure demonstrates the evolution of American residential architecture through its preservation of original Tudor Revival elements within a modern educational setting.
