Ambrose Hall, University building in Davenport, United States.

Ambrose Hall features yellow stone and red brick construction with decorative marble trim, round-arch windows, and a prominent mansard roof at its center.

The cornerstone of Ambrose Hall was placed on July 5, 1885, marking the first construction on the St. Ambrose University campus in Davenport.

As part of St. Ambrose University, the building maintains its role in education while representing architectural achievements of 19th-century American institutional design.

The building contains administrative offices, including admissions and financial aid departments, along with faculty offices and the John R. Lewis Board Room.

A stone and marble grotto containing a statue of the Virgin Mary stands just north of the building, adding religious significance to the site.
