Port of Al Hudaydah

The port complex includes eight berths stretching 1,461 meters along the coastline, with two additional docks specifically designated for petroleum operations.

Established in 1961 through cooperation with the Soviet Union, the port began with three berths totaling 410 meters in length and 8 meters in depth.

The port functions as the primary gateway for humanitarian aid distribution to Yemen's population, handling essential supplies through its network of twelve storage facilities.

The facility maintains a total operational area of 314 million square meters, with 307 million square meters dedicated to maritime activities and vessel navigation.

The natural geography of the location protects the port from seasonal winds and ocean currents, creating stable conditions for maritime operations throughout the year.
