Spielberg

Spielberg is a municipality in Murtal District positioned at 660 meters elevation within the Mur valley region. The town comprises nine cadastral communities scattered across gently rolling terrain characteristic of Upper Styria.

The earliest settlements in Spielberg's districts of Ingering and Lind emerged around the 9th century. These regions rank among the oldest continuously inhabited areas in the Upper Styrian region.
