Murtal District

Murtal District is an administrative region in Styria covering several municipalities with Judenburg serving as its administrative center. The area includes towns like Knittelfeld and Zeltweg, spread across rolling terrain at roughly 714 meters elevation.

This district was formed in 2012 by merging the former Judenburg and Knittelfeld districts as part of Styria's administrative reorganization. The merger brought multiple communities under a unified administrative structure that continues to serve the region today.
