Palais Lanckoroński, Baroque revival palace in Landstraße district, Vienna, Austria.
The palace featured a two-story entrance hall with wood panels, family portraits, Renaissance paintings, and seventeenth-century tapestries decorating its walls.
Count Karol Lanckoroński commissioned architects Ferdinand Fellner and Hermann Helmer to build this residence between 1894 and 1895 at Jacquingasse street.
The palace contained one of Vienna's largest art collections, including works by Tintoretto, Canaletto, and Rembrandt, with rooms organized by artistic themes.
The palace stood until the 1960s when demolition occurred due to extensive damage from World War II, and a modern office building replaced it.
Artists Hans Makart and Auguste Rodin, along with writers Hugo von Hofmannsthal and Rainer Maria Rilke, gathered regularly at this cultural center.
