Train World, Railway museum in Schaerbeek, Belgium
Train World exhibits historical locomotives, royal carriages, and railway equipment across multiple halls connected to the Schaarbeek station building.
The museum opened in September 2015 to showcase Belgium's railway heritage, which includes the oldest railway network on the European continent.
The Type 12 steam locomotive displayed in Train World represents Belgian engineering excellence by setting speed records in 1939.
Train World welcomes visitors from Tuesday to Sunday between 10:00 and 17:00, with access through buses 58, 59, 56, 69 and trams 92, 7.
The museum preserves the Pays de Waes locomotive, the oldest steam engine in Belgium, alongside modern railway technology displays.
