Razzmatazz, concert hall
Razzmatazz is a concert hall and nightclub in Barcelona's Poblenou district, housed inside a former industrial building. The venue is divided into several self-contained rooms, each set up for a different music style and open at the same time.
The club opened in the 1990s when Poblenou was still a largely unused industrial area on the edge of the city. Over time it became a regular stop for national and international acts touring Spain.
Razzmatazz draws a young crowd that comes for electronic music, indie rock, and alternative sounds. Each room has its own character, so the experience changes completely depending on which door you walk through.
The entrance is on a street near a park, and the nearest metro station is a short walk away. Arriving early gives you time to explore the surrounding area, which has bars and restaurants nearby.
The building holds five separate rooms running at the same time, each with a completely different sound level and crowd. This means you can move from a live rock concert to a techno floor in one night without ever stepping outside.
