Circuito de Albacete is a racing track in Albacete, Spain, spanning over 3.5 kilometers (2.2 miles) with 14 turns that challenge both car and motorcycle racers. The track can be reconfigured into two smaller layouts: one about 2.25 kilometers (1.4 miles) with 8 turns and another short version of roughly 1.3 kilometers (0.8 miles) with 6 turns for different types of events and training sessions.
Circuito de Albacete opened in 1990 and quickly became an important venue for various racing championships. From 1992 to 1999, it hosted Superbike World Championship rounds, and it later served as home for the FIM CEV Moto3 series and the FIA European Truck Racing Championship.
The track is also known locally as 'La Torrecica' and serves as a gathering place for riders and drivers who share a passion for motorsports. People from the region regularly use it for practice sessions and smaller competitions, creating a tight-knit community around the sport.
