Fuente de las Ranas

Fuente de las Ranas is a monument featuring four frogs that spout water through shells arranged around an octagonal basin. Decorative wrought iron lamps surround the structure, which light up the space in the evening.

The monument was inaugurated in 1916 as a tribute to Dionisio Guardiola. It was later moved from its original location at Plaza de Gabriel Lodares to other sites around the city.

The fountain displays symbols for agriculture, commerce, and industry that reflect what mattered most to the city at the time it was built. These decorative elements tell a story about Albacete's working life.

The monument sits at a central intersection where four streets meet, making it easy to find and access. The evening lighting is worth seeing, as it highlights the features of the structure in a different way.
