The CCCB occupies 15,000 square meters within a transformed building, featuring 4,000 square meters of exhibition spaces, an auditorium, classrooms, and multipurpose areas.

The structure originated as the Provincial House of Charity in 1802, operating until 1957 before architects Viaplana and Piñón transformed it between 1991 and 1993.

The center maintains an extensive multimedia archive containing documents, publications, and audiovisual materials focused on contemporary cultural expressions and experimental cinema.

Visitors can access the center Tuesday through Sunday from 11:00 to 20:00, with modified schedules during holidays and special dates throughout the year.

The building features a distinctive glass facade that functions as a mirror, reflecting the urban landscape while connecting the interior spaces with the city views.
