Pirenarium

Pirenarium is a theme park featuring an extensive collection of miniature models depicting the Pyrenees and regional landmarks spread across a large indoor exhibition space. The models show different mountain landscapes and settlements arranged to help visitors explore the geography.

The park opened in 2005 in a renovated military building that had previously served as a barracks for the area. This transformation gave the historical structure a new educational purpose.

The place displays carefully made models showing how people built and lived in the Pyrenean regions, helping visitors understand local traditions. These miniature worlds reveal the architecture and daily life of mountain communities.

The park is situated in an easily accessible location with clear signage throughout the building to help visitors find their way. There is plenty of space to explore, and most areas are flat and straightforward to visit.

The main attraction is one of Europe's largest miniature models, stretching over 100 meters and depicting the entire Pyrenean mountain chain. This elaborate model shows the mountain range in surprisingly realistic detail.
