Federico García Lorca Park

Federico García Lorca Park is an urban green space in Granada featuring tree-lined pathways, various types of roses throughout its grounds, and palm trees creating shaded areas. The site also includes a historic farmhouse that now functions as a museum, preserving furnishings and objects from the past.

The grounds once served as a private estate and residence from 1925 to 1936 for a celebrated Spanish poet who created significant literary works during his years there. After he departed, the property changed hands before becoming a public space dedicated to preserving his legacy.

The farmhouse within the grounds preserves rooms where a renowned Spanish poet once lived and created his works. Visitors can observe the original furnishings and personal items that reflect the creative life that unfolded in these spaces.

The park is located within Granada and remains open during daylight hours with free entry and scattered benches throughout for resting in shaded areas. The paved pathways are easy to navigate, and signs clearly indicate how to reach the museum building at the property.
