Science Park of Granada, Science museum in Granada, Spain

Science Park Granada is a science museum in the city with large exhibition spaces covering multiple subjects. It has interactive areas dedicated to physics, chemistry, and biology where you can experiment and learn hands-on.

The museum opened in 1995 and was established as a major science center for southern Spain. Since then it has grown into an important location for science education in the region.

The Al-Andalus and Science Pavilion shows how medieval scholars in this region made scientific and technical advances. You can see how these ideas shaped their world and continue to influence thinking today.

The park has large areas with different stations to try out, so you need plenty of time to explore everything. Good walking shoes help since there is a lot of ground to cover, especially if you plan to climb the observation tower.

A large enclosure houses over 200 animal species in recreated habitats, so you can see how animals live in their natural settings. This is quite different from simply viewing scientific exhibits.
