The location is easily accessible by car with parking available before the walking paths begin. Comfortable shoes are recommended for walking on trails and grass areas along the shoreline.
The water comes from the Jerte River, known for its exceptional purity and the origin of the region's name. This clean water source makes the reservoir a popular fishing destination where anglers regularly catch different species including trout and carp.
