Platja S'Estanyol

Platja S'Estanyol is a Mediterranean beach cove in Santa Eularia des Riu with golden sand mixed with flat rocks and indigenous coastal plants. The inlet is framed by rocky formations that give the shoreline a sheltered structure.

Traditional fishermen built wooden boathouses along the northeastern edge of the cove, which still stand as evidence of local maritime activities. These structures speak to a time when these waters were crucial for craft and fishing.

The beach has two distinct sections: a family area with sun loungers beside the restaurant and a naturist section beyond the rocky formations.

The beach is accessible on foot via a dirt track from Jesus village with free parking near the shoreline. An on-site restaurant serves food and makes the spot convenient for a day visit.

The water has a greenish hue due to natural seaweed beds that create an ecological environment supporting marine life. These beds also help stabilize the shore, making it an unexpected draw for nature-minded visitors.
