Castle of Miranda de Ebro, Medieval defensive castle in Miranda de Ebro, Spain.

The fortification stands on Picota hill at 500 meters elevation, featuring north walls, east-west remnants, and a circular tower structure.

Construction of the castle started in 1449 under stonecutter Juan Guas after Tello of Castille requested land from the bishopric of Calahorra in 1358.

The castle materials were repurposed in 1903 when the city council dismantled the structure to build a local bullring facility.

Visitors can access the castle daily from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Calle San Francisco 10.

The entrance incorporated multiple defensive halls in a barbican system before reaching the main gate of the fortification.
