Casa Isabel Pomar, Modernist residential building in Dreta de l'Eixample, Barcelona, Spain
The narrow facade of Casa Pomar features a bow window on the first floor decorated with green ceramic tiles and wrought iron balconies on upper levels.
Architect Joan Rubió i Bellver, a student of Antoni Gaudí, designed this residence between 1904 and 1906 for Isabel Pomar, widow of Pelegrí Pomés i Bordas.
The building participates in an educational route implemented by the Municipal Archive of L'Eixample District, showcasing significant architecture from the early 20th century.
Located at 86 Girona Street, Casa Pomar contains both residential spaces and a ground floor commercial establishment accessed through ogival stone portals.
The facade incorporates a helical fluted column that visually supports the main floor tribune, structured in three graduated projecting planes.
