Gran Casino del Sardinero

The Gran Casino del Sardinero is an Art Nouveau building on the coast of Santander with elegant white facades and large windows overlooking the sea. Inside, it contains gaming rooms, restaurants, multiple dining spaces, and areas designed for social gatherings and cultural events.

The building was constructed in 1916 by architect Eloy Martínez del Valle, replacing an earlier structure that was destroyed by fire in the 1890s. Subsequent renovations by architect Ricardo Lorenzo incorporated neoclassical elements alongside modern design while maintaining its original character.
