The Alqueria del Duc features a square layout with a central courtyard, two floors, and four corner towers built with irregular stone walls and mortar.
Built in the 15th century, this fortress served as a watchtower against pirate incursions before Alfonso de Borja acquired and transformed it in 1590.
The structure represents traditional Spanish agricultural architecture and holds the designation of Cultural Heritage Site, recognizing its regional significance.
The building currently functions as Gandia's Tourism Development Center, offering hospitality training programs and operating as a teaching hotel.
