Dunas del Carabasí

Dunas del Carabasí is a beach featuring natural sand dunes that stretch for about 900 meters and average 80 meters wide. Wooden walkways cross through the area to prevent damage to the vegetation and soil.

The coastal area developed naturally over centuries and kept its dune landscape without major urban growth. This preservation came from deliberate efforts to protect the shoreline ecosystem in the region.

This beach is a gathering place for people from nearby towns who spend their summers here enjoying traditional seaside activities. The dunes create a natural boundary that separates beach life from the modern settlements beyond.

The beach has changing rooms and showers available for visitors to rinse off before or after swimming. Visitors should note that walking across the sand is restricted to wooden boardwalks to protect the dunes.

The shoreline is divided into different zones, with some areas family-oriented and others designated for naturism. Mediterranean pine trees line the edge of the sand, creating a distinctive natural setting.
